On this page we'll describe some of the residents of Brigadoon Foundation that need sponsors. With your help they can live long lives just being horses or getting ready to be adopted if they have an injury that just needs time and TLC.

Our Oldest Resident

Smokey loves to escape from his stall just to say he can still outsmart us all, but he doesn't go anywhere, he knows where he is loved!

Smokey is in his 30's. He was a Amateur and Junior Hunter in his prime and taught many a young rider to become great horsemen. Unfortunately he has been forgotten by most, but not by us. Smokey has arthritis and is a little stiff on cold days, but his eyes are bright and he looks forward to going out in the field every day. With his glucosamine Suppliment and his aspirin it costs the foundation with all of his care around $155.00 a month. If you would like to sponsor Smokey that would be great but if you can't afford the monthly care any donation towards his care would be appreciated. Please note on your donation who it is for and for what, we will guarantee it will be used for that purpose. Kisses and Hugs are Free, but if you want to buy him apples and carrots, we can do that too.

More Residents that need Sponsors

13 year old WB mare called "Cinderella". She was a Grand Prix Jumper in her day but after an injury she decided she liked retirement. She is a sweet mare and loves hugs from anyone who stops by.. You could sponsor her for $175.00 a month, but any donation towards that fee will go directly to her care.

7 year old WB mare called "April". April is 17 hands but she thinks she is the size of a lap dog. April has a rotated coffin bone that would just get worse is used for anything but a lawn ornament. You could sponsor her for $175.00 a month, but again any donation towards that fee will go directly to her care.

Enosh is around 30. He is an Arab and in his day he was in the Rose Parade. He has given many a child the unconditional love horses are famous for. To learn more about him sponsor him for $155.00 a month or send a donation towards that fee for his care.

Randy is a 15 year old TB/QH cross. He has a ruptured Tendon sheath which he is sound on now, but no guarantee can be given for the future if not cared for properly. He is a bit of a grouch when he first gets to know you because he is so defensive, but after you get to know him you realize it is all bluff. He has a great heart and will nicker to all that come to the barn. He can be sponsored for $155.00 a month, but any donation will be appreciated, just please earmark it for Randy, so we can make sure it goes towards his care.
